There are different types of errors encountered by symbian users when
they want to install some symbian application i.e Symbian Installation
Script(SIS, SISX) on their phone, and this very very annoying when the
application is what you needed at that time. Most of these errors are
certificate error. This error mean that your phone is protected to
install application that are signed with valid certificate compatible
for your phone. So you are been restricted to install unsigned
application and application with expired, invalid certificate.
So what can you do to bypass all this error? The answer is that you need to hack your phone.
What does phone hacking mean? Don't be scared, phone
hacking cant damage your phone but you need careful. Phone hacking
gives you full access to your phone. You can install ANY application
either signed, expired or unsigned. You will have full access to the sys
folder of your phone.
So how do you go about the hack?
There are several ways you can hack you phone but we will talk on
using “helloox”. You will need to get it installed on your phone. The
helloox itself is an unsigned application which is needed to be signed
before installing it. You will need the following tools to get it signed
before it can be installed.
1. Free signer / sign sis
2. Cert / key file for your phone imei
Now to get helloox signed, you first need to get your cert & key
file ready. There are many websites offering this service like: opda,
cer.s603rd.cn, www.s60certkey.com and so on.
But recently the above listed sites are no more giving certificate and key file due one reason or the other.
But there is a site that i will recomend in this tutorial that you can get your cert & key file there in less than 24 hours
Without telling you long story, lets go straight to the point.
1. Goto http://www.nokioteca.net/home/forum/ and register using a valid email address. They will send a confirmation link to your email which you need to verify.
2. After registration, login into your account and click the drop
down arrow next to your username at the top right of the screen and
click on profile. If its nt in english, you will see “profilo” it is
profile.
3. Go to the third tap in the profile page and scroll down, you’ll
see a place to enter your the imei number of your phone, enter it and
click save button. Or to save time and stress just follow this link http://www.nokioteca.net/home/forum/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=members it will just take you to your profile page where you’ll input your phone model and imei.
4. Goto http://www.nokioteca.net/home/forum/index.php/forum/219-certificati-symbian-s60-devcert/
you’ll see some thread with date in front of it which they’ll all be
locked but there will be only one thread i.e the first thread that will
not be locked. The title of the thread will be “Richiedi Qui Il Tuo
Certificato [Date]” now open that thread and post a reply. What you’ll
post is just “certificate request” pls dont post twice.
5. Wait for 20 hours and check back the same thread with the date you
post reply into. The thread might be locked and it may not be locked.
If it is locked then open the thread and goto the last post in the
thread you’ll see devcert.rar attachment, download it and open it with
ur xplore. You’ll find your cert & key inside. But if d thread is nt
locked, you’ll have to wait till it is locked.
Now that you have you have your certificate and key file ready, you can now use it to sign helloOx. (WORKING UP-TO DATE)
Now how do you sign helloox?
Download helloox v2.03 unsigned from sharemobile if you have not yet downloaded it.
1. Download free signer or signsis that is compatible with your phone
and install it. You can get them in sharemobile or
http://www.shoujizu.net/en/
2. If you are using signsis, the process is pretty simple. Just open
it then in the sis file, browse and select the helloox you downloaded.
In the key file, browse and select the key you obtain from nokioteca. In
the cert file, browse and select the certificate you obtained from
nokioteca.
Press options and select “Sign”. Your helloox will be signed
3. If you are using free signer then follow these steps:
a. Open free signer and press options then select settings
b.
Scroll down to the Sign Cert box then browse and select the certificate
you obtain from nokioteca. Do the same for the Sign Key box also and
select the key you obtain from nokioteca. Then go back to the main
screen.
c. On the main screen you’ll see “click here to add task”.
Click “Add Task” and browse the helloox you downloaded. Press options
and select “Add”. A menu pops up select “Sign Sis”. It will take you
back to the main page. Now press options and select “GO” and your
helloox will be signed.
Now that you have your helloox signed, lets move on to the real business which is the hacking of the phone.
1. Install the helloox that you’ve signed with the cert and key you obtained from nokioteca.
2. Run the helloox. You will see two options:
i. Unhack my phone.
ii. Hack my phone again.
Select hack my phone again and the hacking process begins.
3. Wait until the hacking process is complete. It will display all
done message. If the procees got stuck, cancel it and restart your phone
and try it again. And if it keeps getting stuck then helloox cannot
hack your phone.
4. When the hacking process is complete, restart your phone and start enjoying your phone i.e your phone is now hacked.
NOTE:
If you want to be able to access the sys folder on your C
and E drive using xplore then run the ROMPatcher that is automatically
installed when you hack your phone using helloox. Press options and
select “all patches” and select “apply” and exit rompatcher. Then open
your xplore and you’ll be able to access it.

Complete Guide: How To Use Blackberry Internet Subscription On Symbian Phones
Its no longer news that you can now use your blackberry internet subscription on your mobile. Its very possible and you do not need any expert to make this work for you.
I guess by now your should be asking yourself "why do I need to bother myself using the Blackberry Internet service (BIS) when there are various data bundles available for your Java / symbian smartphones?".
Well, the need varies, If you are an internet Geek that spend lots of time on the net, you will realise this internet data bundles will not cover up much of your data usage except if you are ever ready to keep spending more. But i wonder why the need to spend more when you can get it at a cheaper rate.
In the case of a blackberry mobile user, it is very possible for you to get access to the internet with unlimited data for a whole month at a very cheap rate, whereas on the normal data bundles you will be allocated a certain data size (mostly 200mb/month) which is so unfair.
So because of this, we have to take our chances and enjoy the blackberry subscription plan on our mobiles too.
All you need is just to subscribe for the BIS normally like a blackberry user then move to your phone (symbian) configuration and set it as follows:
(using MTN Nigeria as case study)
Connection name : bobo wap
Data Bearer: Packet data
Access point name: blackberry.net
Username & Password : web
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: www.facebook.com
After filling those, then click option >> Advance settings
Network type : IPv4
Phone IP address : automatic
DNS adress: (primary: 8.8.8.8, then secondary: 8.8.8.8)
Then save!
Thats all. Then you can connect all your mobile application to use this new configuration you have just made. Its as simple as that.
Settings had been tested on
*Opera mini and Opera
*Ucweb
*whatsapp
*2go messenger
*Netquin antivirus
*In-built Browser
And many other mobile applications that requires the internet.

Opera Mini Secrets
To the mobile browsing freaks, Opera mini as we all know is the most
used and loved mobile browser among all other mobile browsers. It work
on almost all phones which made it widely accepted as the preferred
mobile browser. It increases browsing speed, faster and easy to use. and
little do many of us know that there are many secret and interesting
feature on our dear loved browser which will make the internet mobile
experience more fun i.e. technology enthusiasts but also for the regular
opera mini browser user. These codes are to be used in the address bar
of Opera Mini. Make sure that you delete http:// or http://www from the
address bar before applying the following listed codes.
If you are interested in knowing the configuration of your mobile phone browser, its capabilities and default settings then you can try the code “config:” in the address bar. The code will open up an internal page of opera mini called Opera Mini’s Power User Settings page where you can tweak many browser settings like the timeout and whether the browser should make phone numbers click-able. This is quite handy as you might need to change the timeout wait time set by default.
server:source
Web developers like me will appreciate this code more “server:source” which displays the source code of the current page. That way you can make out the entire html construction code of the site you are visiting. Its quite a handy tool when you have to view and edit your own sites html code setup.
:cache
Not exactly editable but it lets you know how much memory the cached content is chewing up in your mobile phone. This code can be your answer to your curiosity of opera mini slower loading. If the cached content is too much, you can always delete it and make the browser load faster.
about:
Most of us know that Opera Mini utilizes a proxy server technology to compress web pages for faster and better site loading. Opera Mini does this in order to minimize amount of data transfer and make the content load faster on the phone. Usage of this code allows display of information about the Opera Mini server.
debug:
It Displays a page listing many Opera mini server and client properties. The Host:[i] field tells you which Opera Mini server you are currently connected to. The known locations of servers are US, Poland, Iceland, Norway, South Africa etc. The server location is usually camouflages by an alphabetic notation. Servers between r02-12 are usually in the US. In certain cases the[i]r may be replaced with t,v,z etc.
feed:list
Opera mini is known to load feeds in a very mobile friendly format, using this secret code you will be able to conveniently navigate to the Feeds page
opera:about
This secret code displays copyright and license information for third party software used in the browser. Its not so much important but if you are only curious then there is no harm in simply trying it.
server:reset
A secret code of far more convenience. This clears all cookies stored in your locale thus safeguards you from being tracked by any analytics program.
server:refresh
This is not really necessary because there is a much more faster way of reloading your current page with your keypad shortcodes, yet still, just for you can test this code and see if it refreshes the current page on your opera mini browser.
